Gluten-free foods can take many forms these days. Walk into your local health food store or supermarket and you will surely see plenty of gluten-free alternatives to some staple foods. These can be anything from gluten-free pizza to gluten-free bread to gluten-free cake. However, as you might guess, this does not mean that these alternatives are necessarily healthful, just because they are gluten-free.

Keep in mind the other cornerstone of the Grain Brain program is to choose foods that won’t have a significant effect on blood sugar. And that means cutting out carbs whether gluten-free or not.
